USDA Proposes Increased Assessment Rate for California Raisin Marketing Order

The US Department of Agriculture has proposed a rule to increase the assessment rate for the Raisin Administrative Committee, which regulates the handling of California raisins, from $7.50 to $14.00 per ton of raisins, effective for the 2010-11 crop year and beyond.
