Final Rule Prohibits Importation of Citrus Seed from Countries with Citrus Greening or Chlorosis

The U.S. government has finalized a rule to ban the importation of citrus seed from countries where citrus greening or citrus variegated chlorosis is present, in an effort to prevent the spread of these diseases. The rule, which was previously an interim measure, requires phytosanitary certificates for seed from other countries.
