US Proposes Changes to Import Regulations for Uruguayan Ovine Meat

The US government is proposing to relax regulations on importing fresh ovine meat from Uruguay, subject to certain conditions, in order to allow for the importation of chilled or frozen ovine meat from Uruguay into the US, while maintaining protection against foot-and-mouth disease.
