U.S. Department of Agriculture and FDA Host Public Meeting on Codex Committee on Fish and Fishery Products

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Office of the Under Secretary for Food Safety and the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition are hosting a public meeting on March 16, 2011, to gather public comments on agenda items and U.S. positions for the 31st session of the Codex Committee on Fish and Fishery Products, part of the Codex Alimentarius Commission. The meeting is also an opportunity for interested parties to obtain background information on the upcoming Codex Committee meeting in Tromsø, Norway, from April 11-16, 2011.
