California Olive Committee Reduces Olive Assessment Rate to $16.61 per Ton

The California Olive Committee has lowered the assessment rate for olives grown in California from $44.72 to $16.61 per ton, effective for fiscal years 2011 and beyond, to fund the marketing program that regulates the handling of California-grown olives.
