U.S. Department of Energy Launches Rulemaking for Residential Clothes Dryer Energy Efficiency Testing

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is seeking public input on new test procedures for residential clothes dryers to better assess the impact of automatic cycle termination on energy efficiency, with the goal of updating energy conservation standards recently adopted for the industry.
