U.S. Department of Energy to Adopt Full-Fuel-Cycle Analyses for Energy Conservation Standards

The U.S. Department of Energy plans to modify its methods for estimating the impacts of energy conservation standards on energy use and emissions, using full-fuel-cycle measures and collaborating with the Federal Trade Commission to provide consumers with more detailed information on product energy use and emissions.
