U.S. Department of Energy Issues Loan Guarantee for Genesis Solar Energy Project

The U.S. Department of Energy has decided to issue a loan guarantee to Genesis Solar, LLC for the construction and startup of a 250-megawatt solar power generating facility in Riverside County, California. This decision was made after analyzing the environmental impacts of the project, which was prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act.
