CFTC Finds Chicago Climate Exchange's Carbon Financial Instrument Contract Does Not Perform Significant Price Discovery Function

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued an order stating that the Chicago Climate Exchange's Carbon Financial Instrument contract does not currently serve as a significant price discovery mechanism, following a review of public comments and data provided by the exchange.
