U.S. Department of Energy Establishes Energy Conservation Standards for Residential Furnaces and Air Conditioners

The U.S. Department of Energy has confirmed the adoption of amended energy conservation standards for residential furnaces and central air conditioners and heat pumps, effective June 27, 2011, following the receipt of no reasonable comments to withdraw the rule.
