CFTC Orders Find No Significant Price Discovery Function for ICE Energy Contracts

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has issued orders stating that several energy contracts listed on the IntercontinentalExchange (ICE) do not perform a significant price discovery function. The contracts include SP-15 Financial Day-Ahead LMP Peak Daily, SP-15 Financial Day-Ahead LMP Off-Peak Daily, SP-15 Financial Swap Real Time LMP-Peak Daily, NP-15 Financial Day-Ahead LMP Peak Daily, and NP-15 Financial Day-Ahead LMP Off-Peak Daily contracts.
