OSHA Releases Final Regulations for Handling Retaliation Complaints Under STAA

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has released final regulations for handling retaliation complaints under the Surface Transportation Assistance Act of 1982 (STAA), as amended. The new rules aim to make the procedures for handling whistleblower complaints more consistent with OSHA's existing procedures for retaliation complaints, and were finalized in response to public comments received.
