US Finalizes Inseason Adjustments to Pacific Coast Groundfish Fisheries Management
The Magnuson-Stevens Act Provisions have been implemented, allowing the commercial Pacific Coast groundfish fisheries to access more abundant groundfish stocks while protecting overfished and depleted stocks, as authorized by the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishery Management Plan (FMP). These changes are part of the Biennial Specifications and Management Measures, which were recently announced.
