NMFS Approves Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Quota Transfer and Daily Retention Limit Adjustment

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has approved a quota transfer of 50 metric tons of Atlantic bluefin tuna from the Reserve category to the General category for the remainder of 2011, and adjusted the daily retention limit for the General category from three to two large medium or giant bluefin tuna through December 31, 2011.
