Bureau of Industry and Security Amends Export Administration Regulations to Remove National Semiconductor and SMIC from Validated End-User List

The Bureau of Industry and Security has amended the Export Administration Regulations to remove National Semiconductor and Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation from the list of validated end-users in the People's Republic of China, due to changes in ownership and control, and to remove one facility from the list of eligible destinations for SMIC.
