NMFS Notifies Pacific Fishery Management Council of Overfished Condition of Pacific Ocean Perch

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a notice to the Pacific Fishery Management Council, stating that Pacific ocean perch (Sebastes alutus) is in an overfished condition, as determined by the Secretary of Commerce. This notification is made in accordance with the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act.
