U.S. Marine Corps Seeks Authorization to Take Marine Mammals During Training Exercises

The U.S. Marine Corps has submitted a request to the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to take bottlenose dolphins during military readiness activities at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point in North Carolina, in accordance with the Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA).
