USPTO Amends Rules Governing Patent Appeals Process
The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has updated its rules for patent appeals, allowing for earlier Board of Patent Appeals and Interferences (BPAI) jurisdiction, removing briefing requirements, and clarifying procedures for reviewing new grounds of rejection.
