NMFS Revises Vessel Identification Requirements for West Coast Highly Migratory Species Fisheries

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has revised vessel identification requirements for fishing vessels with west coast highly migratory species permits to align with international standards implemented in 2010. The new measures require vessels to display their International Radio Call Sign or official number with a 'USA-' prefix.
