SEC Approves Proposed Rule Change for Early Redemption of Certificates of Deposit

The Depository Trust Company has received approval from the Self-Regulatory Organizations to amend its rules regarding the early redemption of Certificates of Deposit (CDs), a type of time deposit offered by banks.
