FINRA Receives Approval to Keep Certain Documents from Discovery in Litigation

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) has received approval from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. to explicitly protect from discovery certain documents that are prohibited from disclosure under federal law, as part of a proposed rule change to FINRA Rule 9251.
