Temporary Closure of SR 27 Vertical Lift Bridge on Gulf Intracoastal Waterway for Maintenance

The US Coast Guard has temporarily closed the SR 27 (Ellender Ferry) vertical lift bridge on the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway near Hackberry, Louisiana, for electrical component upgrades and repair work, allowing the bridge to remain closed to navigation for nine consecutive hours daily from Monday to Friday for four weeks.
