U.S. Customs and Border Protection to Implement New Arrival and Departure Record System

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will begin using a new electronic system to collect arrival and departure records, replacing the existing paper-based Forms I-94 and I-94W, and will also utilize the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) for international travelers.
