Coast Guard Proposes Security Zones for High Capacity Passenger Vessels and Certain Dangerous Cargo

The US Coast Guard is proposing to establish fixed and moving security zones around High Capacity Passenger Vessels and vessels carrying Certain Dangerous Cargo while they are being escorted in the Ohio Valley Zone, with the goal of preventing potential terrorist acts and enhancing public and maritime safety and security.
