USCIS Extends Employment Authorization for Liberians with Deferred Enforced Departure

US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has issued a notice providing instructions for eligible Liberians on how to apply for an 18-month extension of employment authorization, which was previously directed by President Obama in a 2011 memorandum to Secretary Janet Napolitano, and automatically extends the validity of existing employment authorization documents for those whose current EADs expire on September 30, 2011.
