Regulators Prohibit Criticism of Institutions Based on Reputation Risk

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation have adopted a final rule to eliminate reputation risk from their supervisory programs, prohibiting criticism of institutions based on reputation risk and protecting constitutionally protected speech.
