U.S. Departments Request Industry Code to Combat Botnets

The U.S. Department of Commerce and U.S. Department of Homeland Security are seeking public input on a voluntary industry code of conduct to address the detection, notification, and mitigation of botnets, which have increasingly compromised computer owners' personal information and computing power.
