FEMA Publishes Guidelines for 2011 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has released guidelines for the 2011 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program, outlining the application process and criteria for awarding grants, following a meeting with fire service leaders in 2010. The application period, which opened in August 2011, received over 16,000 submissions, with additional resources available on the FEMA website.
