Temporary Drawbridge Operation Relaxation to Test New Schedule

The Commander of the Eighth Coast Guard District has temporarily relaxed the rules for the SR 23 bridge across the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway in Belle Chasse, Louisiana, to test a new drawbridge operation schedule. The test will run from Monday to Friday, allowing the bridge to open only at the hour, while still enforcing maritime restrictions during morning and afternoon hours.
