Coast Guard Establishes Safety Zone and Regulated Navigation Area on Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal

The U.S. Coast Guard is implementing restrictions on vessels transiting the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal near Romeoville, IL, due to the presence of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' electrical dispersal fish barrier system, in an effort to protect the environment and ensure safe navigation.
