Delaying Compliance Date for ADA Swimming Pool Requirements

The Department of Justice is proposing to extend the compliance date for certain ADA requirements related to accessible entry and exit for existing swimming pools and spas, with a proposed new deadline of September 17, 2012, to allow more time for pool owners and operators to address misunderstandings and ensure consistent application of the ADA's requirements.
