DEA Proposes Placing Lorcaserin in Schedule IV of Controlled Substances Act

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is recommending the placement of lorcaserin, including its salts and isomers, into Schedule IV of the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) based on a recommendation from the Assistant Secretary for Health of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and an evaluation of relevant data.
