Request for Information: HIPAA Privacy Rule Accounting of Disclosures Under the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act

The Department of Health and Human Services seeks input on revising the HIPAA Privacy Rule to require covered entities to account for electronic health record disclosures for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations, and to better understand individuals' interests in learning of such disclosures.
