HHS to Review Petition for Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced its decision to evaluate a petition to include employees from the Los Alamos National Laboratory in the Special Exposure Cohort under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Program Act of 2000, which covers workers who were exposed to hazardous materials between 1943 and 1975.
