FDA Releases Guidance for Sponsors, Clinical Investigators, and IRBs on Statement of Investigator Form

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has released an information sheet guidance to help sponsors, clinical investigators, and institutional review boards (IRBs) complete the Statement of Investigator form (Form FDA 1572) for clinical investigations of investigational drugs and biologics. The guidance addresses frequently asked questions from the research community in response to the form.
