FDA Confirms Effective Date for Bismuth Citrate Rule

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed the effective date of April 27, 2010, for a final rule that increased the permitted use level of bismuth citrate as a color additive in hair coloring products. This rule, published in the Federal Register on March 26, 2010, amended the color additive regulations.
