U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Lake Sammamish Kokanee Petition

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list the Lake Sammamish kokanee population as an endangered or threatened species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973. The Service has determined that the population is not a listable entity and therefore listing is not warranted, but it is still seeking new information and public support for conservation efforts.
