U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Lists Endangered Species and Designates Critical Habitat for Altamaha Spinymussel

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has designated the Altamaha spinymussel as an endangered species under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, and designated approximately 147.5 miles of mainstem river channel in Georgia as critical habitat for the species.
