U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Announces 12-Month Finding on Petition to List Red Tree Vole Population

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has announced a 12-month finding on a petition to list the North Oregon Coast population of the red tree vole as endangered or threatened. The decision is based on the best available scientific and commercial information, and the vole will be added to the candidate species list, with a proposed rule to be developed later.
