Request for Information on the State of the Offshore Renewable Energy Industry-Auction Format Information Request (AFIR)

The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) is seeking public input on proposed auction formats for issuing commercial renewable energy leases on the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS). The proposed formats aim to efficiently allocate leases to the most valuable and capable developers while ensuring a fair return for the government.
