The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for oil and gas lease sales scheduled for 2012-2017 in the Western Planning Area (WPA) and Central Planning Area (CPA) of the Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) offshore the states of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama.
