NPRM Proposes Changes to Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid Standards

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has proposed a rule to update the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 116, Motor Vehicle Brake Fluids, to include testing with ethylene, propylene, and diene terpolymer (EPDM) rubber, which is commonly used in brake fluid seals.
