Pipeline Safety Workshop on Cased Pipe Integrity Assessment

The Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) is hosting a workshop to discuss its recently issued guidelines for assessing the integrity of cased pipes in gas transmission pipelines, with a focus on addressing concerns and ideas related to External Corrosion Direct Assessment methods and other technologies, particularly in high-risk areas. The workshop will take place on April 28, 2010, at the Sheraton Inner Harbor in Baltimore, MD.
