U.S. Department of Transportation Allocates $2.5 Billion for High-Speed Intercity Passenger Rail Program

The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced a new funding opportunity for the High-Speed Intercity Passenger Rail (HSIPR) Program, with up to $50 million available for planning activities, as part of the FY 2010 DOT Appropriations Act
