FAA Assigns New Task to Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has tasked the Aviation Rulemaking Advisory Committee (ARAC) with developing recommendations for low-speed alerting requirements in new transport category airplanes, marking the first phase of a broader effort to establish new standards and potential retrofit standards.
