Federal Transit Administration to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Glassboro-Camden Light Rail Expansion

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) is issuing a Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed 18-mile Glassboro-Camden Light Rail system, which would connect the Borough of Glassboro in Gloucester County to the City of Camden in Camden County, along the existing Conrail railroad right-of-way. The FTA is seeking public input on the scope of the EIS and will consider outreach activities conducted by the Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA)/Port Authority Transit Corporation (PATCO) in its preparation of the document.
