US Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Lakewood Southeast Project in Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Wisconsin

The US Forest Service will analyze and disclose the environmental impacts of proposed land management activities in the Lakewood Southeast Project, which aims to implement activities consistent with the 2004 Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest Land and Resource Management Plan and address specific needs in the project area, including reintroducing natural regimes, improving wildlife habitats, and enhancing forest health.
