US Food Safety Agencies Seek Comments on Listeria Risk Assessment Update

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are soliciting public input and scientific data to inform an update of a risk assessment on the health risks associated with Listeria monocytogenes in ready-to-eat foods, with the goal of reducing exposure to this bacteria.
