National Organic Program Sunset Review and Renewal Process

The National Organic Program requires a review of exempted or prohibited substances on the National List every 5 years, with a deadline of November 3, 2013, for 11 synthetic and nonsynthetic substances. The US Department of Agriculture is seeking public comment on whether these exemptions or prohibition should be continued.
