USDA Adopts New Assessment Rate for California Olive Committee

The US Department of Agriculture has finalized a rule reducing the assessment rate for California olive handlers from $44.72 to $16.61 per ton, effective for fiscal years 2011 and beyond, to fund the marketing order regulating California-grown olives.
